The demonstrators meet at City Hall before 10am and marched to Senator Ted Cruz’s downtown office.

In addition to reunifying families, protestors in Houston will call for permanent solution for those with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, without conditions such as funding for a border wall. They will also call for the defunding of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, and the end of private prison donations.
