Oct 24— Let me just start off by saying: I’m not a big fan of Houston’s House of Blues (I mean, am I the only one who thinks $9 for a 16oz Pabst Blue Ribbon is…criminally over-priced? I am? Ok). July 11— We went to H-town’s indie music haven Fitzgerald’s (2706 White Oak). I intended to see Fitz and the Tantrums (a great show, by the way). However, we were absolutely smitten by the opening act: Ivy Levan.
